get Current Time from Home Assistant

extract the current hour

{% set hour = current_time.split(':')[0] | int %}

and Minute

{% set minute = current_time.split(':')[1] %}

Say a time appropriate greeting

{% if hour >= 6 and hour < 12 %}
    Good morning!
{% elif hour >= 12 and hour < 18 %}
    Good afternoon!

Add AM or PM Suffix for announcement

convert 24 hour time to 12 hour time

Announce the current Time
